Atmosphere
Our restaurant "Le Velocipède" offers a simple and inventive "at home" cuisine, that showcases the seasonal and local products. In an ecologic vision, we have chosen to work primarily with local suppliers and producers (0-100 km). Seasons are respected in the food supply.

During winter time, enjoy the chimney fire.
In summer, enjoy the garden terrace inside sheltered from the wind and the crowd.

Our Cooking Experience

Our cuisine is simple and refined "at home" food, using fresh seasonal and regional products.
Prepared with "love" by the owner, our appetizers, starters and desserts are all "homemade", we do not use frozen foods, or pre-vacuum packed.

The Velocipède is part of the Baie de Somme Zéro Carbone Association. We pay great attention to the food we put forward on our menu and especially fruits, vegetables, and meat. It's a real homemade cuisine!

Our Terrasse

The inner courtyard of the Vélocipède allows you to spend some time tasting the fresh air and quiet. Our terrace is an extension of the dining room, you will find the style and mood of inside outside as well!

Very sunny on nice days, breakfast, lunch, tea time and dinner on Saturday night can be served on the terrace if you wish.

Sustainable Approach

As part of our environmental policy, we use the water purification system Castalie. Eau de Castalie is a sustainable water supply system. This ingenuous system refines water directly on site from the local water system.

An alternative centered on the taste, freshness of the water and limiting its environmental impact.
This micro-filtration equipment removes chlorine taste, particles and residues associated with any pipes such as heavy metals.We also adjust its temperature and its sparkle.

Appreciated for its fine taste and purity Castalie replaces the traditional sparkling and still waters. Do not waste it, enjoy it!
